- Nicole Fabry

Born in Belgium, Nicole left her home country in 1991. As a cultural nomad, she has lived in several continents and many cities. With a background in Human Resources and intercultural coaching, Nicole has a genuine interest and passion for people.
Nicole is a self-thought artist; she has no formal art education, but learned through observation and perseverant practice. Whenever and wherever she could, she took art classes. For example, in Chicago she joined the Dupage Art League. In Paris she was an habituée at the Académie Grande Chaumière for life drawing sessions and followed figurative painting at the Ateliers des Beaux-Arts. She arrived in Singapore in 2013 and decided to dedicate herself to be a full-time artist. Nicole works in various mediums, ranging from charcoal to pastel, acrylic and oil painting.
Nicole paints flowers, landscapes and a series of portraits. Her passion is with the people she paints, the men and women and their untold stories, the children and their unfulfilled, hopeful destinies. They are faces from the places she visited, faces that speak to her intuitively. Nicole celebrates diversity and hopes her work reflects the respect for humanity.
Nicole Fabry lives in Singapore with her husband. She has three adult children living in Europe.
